Al cuore del messaggio performativo che la fede cristiana testimonia e trasmette vi è il rapporto di reciproco riconoscimento tra il Padre e il Figlio, che Gesù attesta e di cui rende partecipi nello Spirito Santo. L’intelligenza trinitaria di tale messaggio nella dottrina della Chiesa e nella teologia, pur esprimendo l’inedita ontologia del divino e dell’umano nella loro rispettiva destinazione che questa dinamica propizia, non è riuscita a farsi apprezzare nel suo autentico e decidente significato antropologico e socio-culturale, ed anzi è stata per lo più neutralizzata in un paradigma gerarchico e patriarcale. Di qui la critica moderna che ha investito la figura storica assunta dalla religione cristiana, che spinge a una recezione rinnovata del messaggio originario a partire dalla krisis della morte/risurrezione del Figlio quale via di accesso all’incondizionata volontà di bene di Dio nel promuovere la storia di libertà dei suoi figli.

At the heart of the performative message witnessed and transmitted by Christian faith, there is the relationship of mutual recognition between the Father and the Son, which Jesus testifies and shares in the Holy Spirit. Even though the Trinitarian intelligence of this message in Church doctrine and theology expresses the unprecedented ontology of the divine and the human in their respective destination that is propitiated by this dynamic, it has failed to make itself be appreciated in its authentic and decisive anthropological and socio-cultural significance. Indeed, it has practically become neutralized in a hierarchical and patriarchal paradigm. Hence the modern critique that has invested the historical figure assumed by the Christian religion, which pushes for a renewed reception of the original message starting from the decisive krisis of the death/resurrection of the Son as the way of access to God’s unconditional will for the good in promoting the history of freedom for his children.
