La tesi hegeliana del “Venerdì Santo speculativo” ha stimolato un interrogativo che nella storia della filosofia ha assunto l'aspetto dell'ermeneutica e della fenomenologia, tutte sotto la categoria della “kenosi”. Gianni Vattimo è stato protagonista nell'ermeneutica, Jean-Luc Marion nella fenomenologia. L'articolo presenta ciascuna di queste opzioni filosofiche e termina chiedendosi se la riflessione non debba combinare queste due opzioni per non restare bloccata in ciò che ciascuna sembra ignorare dell'altra.
The Hegelian thesis of the « Speculative Holy Friday » has stimulated an interrogation that has taken on, in the history of philosophy, the appearance of hermeneutics and phenomenology, all under the category of « kenosis ». Gianni Vattimo was the protagonist in hermeneutics, and Jean-Luc Marion in phenomenology. The article presents each of these philosophical options, and ends by asking whether reflection should not combine these two options in order to avoid remaining at the level of what each seems to ignore about the other.
