Lo scritto che presento è un tentativo di realizzare un arricchimento reciproco fra due sviluppi (fra loro diversi) sulla natura e funzione della artificialità, e delle sue implicazioni. Da una parte emergono le domande sulla intelligenza artificiale e sulle possibilità che essa offre di realizzare il mondo comune, cosa che però non rende superflua la legge e il giudizio morale. Dall’altra parte la elaborazione della Lettera a Fichte da parte di Jacobi si pone come fondamentale e rigorosa rimeditazione sistematica sul tema natura e libertà.

Artificial Intelligence, Nihilism, Realism. A Comparison with Jacobi (1743–1819)
The paper I present is an attempt to achieve a mutual enrichment between two developments (among them different) on the nature and function of artificiality, and its implications. On the one side, there are questions about artificial intelligence and the possibilities it offers to realize the common world, which does not make law and moral judgment superfluous. On the other side, the elaboration of the Letter to Fichte by Jacobi is a fundamental and rigorous systematic meditation on the theme of nature and freedom.
