L’articolo vuole riproporre alcuni elementi per riportare alla luce la memoria del movimento storico di Gesù di Nazareth e dei suoi discepoli, all’interno della ricerca sulle origini del cristianesimo, nella sua pluralità di forme e manifestazioni. È una memoria che pone al cuore di tutto la prospettiva del cristianesimo profetico-messianico degli inizi, fondato sull’annuncio del regno di Dio, espressione simbolica di un futuro qualitativamente nuovo e vicino per una trasformazione radicale della realtà, in particolare per gli emarginati e gli ultimi. Il volto di Dio di cui Gesù è trasparenza è il Dio delle vittime della storia: Gesù condivide la sua esistenza con loro e propone la solidarietà con loro come principio dirimente per la sequela di Lui. La teologia e la prassi del movimento di Gesù possono suggerire alle chiese cristiane altri linguaggi e comportamenti, vie nuove credibili, libere da forme religiose spesso lontane e incomprensibili per la realtà sociale attuale.

Placing itself within the research on the origins of Christianity in its variety of forms and manifestations, the article wants to revive some aspects of the historical movement of Jesus of Nazareth and of his disciples in order to bring their memory back to consciousness. This memory places the perspective of the prophetic-messianic Christianity of the early age at the core of everything, being based on the announcement of the Kingdom of God - the symbolic expression of a qualitatively new and near future of radical transformation of life, especially for the marginalized and the oppressed. The God of whom Jesus is the disclosure is the God of the victims of history: Jesus shares his existence with them and proposes the solidarity with them as decisive principle for His discipleship. The theology and the praxis of Jesus’ movement can suggest to Christian churches new languages and practices, new trustworthy routes, free from religious formalizations that are frequently distant and incomprehensible to the current social realities.
