L’articolo si propone di indagare il rapporto tra il movimento del post-teismo e la scienza. Dopo aver presentato le ragioni dell’interesse dei post-teisti per la scienza, ci si sofferma su quattro ambiti scientifici particolarmente significativi per le loro elaborazioni teologiche: la cosmologia, la fisica quantistica, la teoria dell’evoluzione e le neuroscienze. Infine, nella parte conclusiva, si discute criticamente l’uso delle teorie scientifiche da parte dei post-teisti insieme con il rischio di trasformare la teologia, almeno nell’ambito preso in considerazione, in ermeneutica della scienza e non più della rivelazione cristiana.

Post-theism and science. Scientific understanding of the universe and understanding of God
The article aims to investigate the relationship between the post-theism movement and science. After presenting the reasons for the interest of post-theists in science, we focus on four scientific fields that are particularly significant for their theological elaborations: cosmology, quantum physics, the theory of evolution and neuroscience. Finally, in the concluding part, we critically discuss the use of scientific theories by post-theists together with the risk of transforming theology, at least in the context under consideration, into a hermeneutic of science and no longer of Christian revelation.
